2 cloves garlic, whole or crushed*¼C extra-virgin olive oil2T sherry vinegar2T freshly squeezed lemon juice1t dried oregano (more to taste)1 scant T Dijon mustard½t kosher salt (or less to taste)¼ - ½t sugar
pinch freshly ground black pepper
1. *Whisk or blend (I use a Nutribullet) everything together. If whisking, use the crushed garlic. If using a Nutribullet or other highspeed blender, you can use whole cloves.

I used almost exactly the same ingredients (except for the vinegar) but I changed a lot of the proportions. This is definitely the best recipe I have found so far for Italian dressing!
